As a pet bird, the Patagonian conure is affectionate, loveable and will sometimes demand attention. They are active and endearing companion birds with a mischievous and comical streak. This pet birds likes to take part in daily household routines and allowing them to participate helps their behavior and emotional well-being.
Behavior/Health Concerns: Patagonian conures require a larger cage than other species of conures. These busy pet birds need plenty of entertainment and interaction. The cage should also be large enough to give the bird plenty of room to exercise. They are large and need extra space. From head to toe, the conure measures 18 inches.
